Jagglé Paper Colour Reversal Kit
Jagglé Paper Colour Reversal Kit
Why Colour Reversal Is Truly Captivating
There’s something uniquely magical about colour paper reversal—a creative process that takes analogue photography into a dreamlike realm. Using RA-4 colour paper as a direct positive gives your images a luminous quality that digital simply can't replicate. The results glow with saturated, organic tones and the tactile charm of analogue — every print feels like a one-of-a-kind creation.
Beyond the visual allure, the process is hands-on, experimental, and deeply satisfying. Filtration, re-exposure, and timing all play a creative role, inviting you to explore the alchemy of analogue. As Jeff Neale puts it, “RA-4 reversal prints…could be mistaken for Cibachrome” — the legendary standard of color—thanks to their vivid, slide-like vibrancy
This kit invites you to dive into an enchanting analogue experience—where every exposure, filter tweak, and timing adjustment is part of the journey.

How to Shoot and Process Your Colour Reversal Picture
Here’s your step-by-step guide to bring your colour paper reversal images to life:
Load the cassette with the RA-4 paper in complete darkness using the daylight-capable Graflok cassette.
Expose your image — meter carefully! While RA-4 paper isn’t designed as a camera film, users report effective ISO ratings around ISO 1–6 (often ISO 6 for initial tests), though results vary based on filters and lighting.
Use multigrade filters (00 or 0) during exposure for fine-tuning colour balance.
Place the loaded cassette on your developing tank or tray.
Pull slide No. 2 to release the paper into the developer.
Black-and-white development: Use Neutol Eco for a short dev—no more than 2 minutes.
Stop bath: Quickly rinse or use AdoStop to halt the development.
Re-expose to light: This step re-sensitizes the remaining silver halides.
Colour development: Submerge the paper in RA-4 colour developer—the image will appear.
Blix (bleach + fix): Use the included RA-4 Blix to remove all silver, leaving just the dye image.
Wash thoroughly to remove residual chemistry.
Enjoy your vivid, paper-based colour positive!
This cassette system uses approximately 100 ml of liquid chemistry per process, making it resource-efficient and ideal for experimentation
