We’re excited to announce the start of the pre-sale of our self developing cassettes.
The cassettes were developed as part of the BerliNova print system. Still, we quickly realised that they are also a great tool in the hands of a large-format photographer, offering many opportunities that were previously not available to them or much harder to achieve.
Whether you want to create direct positives using a reversal process such as the Adox Scala technique, in field paper negatives for test exposures, in field contact prints for portrait sessions, or RA4 reversal in camera, with the Jagglé self-developing cassettes, it is all possible!
The 2 options are essentially a starter pack (cassette + developing tray) and an expansion pack (2 cassettes) as you only need 1 tray but might want several cassettes.

How does it work?

Why a presale?
Economical manufacturing of the cassette requires a lot of tooling and setup. We hope to raise this capital through the pre-sale. However, we are confident that we can deliver all units sold, regardless of whether our internal goal is met.
When will I get my cassette?
We are holding the pre-sale from 01/08/2024 to 30/09/2024. After the closing date, we estimate it will take a maximum of 30 days to manufacture and ship all the units. If you create an account with us at checkout, we can keep you updated on the manufacturing progress.
What format?
For the initial sale we are only offering the 4x5 cassette. We hope to launch the 5x7 cassette and even an 8x10 self developing cassette very soon however. If there is enough interest we will open the presale to the 5x7 cassette as well.
